I am currently thinking of applying to teach in china. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do this, I have plans for the summer and I would ideally start sometime in september. I was wondering when chinese schools normally take people on. I'm sorry if the question is a little vague but I'm new to this.
Thanks! |

I think you are in the clear. I have been looking for work and I am getting a lot of offers for September only positions. They want to get my visa documents now. Also, some recruiters are telling me they need 3 months to do this, which I think is complete bunk.
I am getting ready to take an immediate position and they said I can do this within a few weeks.
Send COPIES only of your documents now, get your invitation letter, and then apply for your work visa. I understand that takes 4 days to process.
Don't let anyone pressure you into a job. They like to tell you very little about the job and push you to send signed contracts back to them. Take your time. |
