spring has sprung and the jr. gangsters are out in force. they come onto campus of the middle school and hangout, smoking and looking tough and talking up the kiddies.
a large % of them are former students who couldn't be bothered to study and now hang around way too much.
as this is my third year in this locale i know the script: one kid drops out. he lingers around dressed in black, smoking and talkinig on his cellphones telling the students how cool it is to not be in school. one becomes two, two becomes, four becomes...
a bunch of em appeared yesterday and oversaw the beatdown of a student. this place until very recently was country and now is a budding boomtown.
the admin has alot to worry about and jr. gangsters doesn't merit enough concern with them yet. it should. they are entrusted with each family's single child and to turn a blind eye while such is led down a dead end path is neglect.
here they actually used to roam the halls during class. i frog marched enough of them outta here that hopefully those days are gone. anyway, anybody else out there in a school infested w/ jr. gangsters? |

No, never heard of it, but common sense dictates that the first step would be to call the police. Just SEEING an official uniform of some sort would probably be a deterrent. They are more or less trespassing, aren't they? |

this is still jerkwater. they put up a fence. even has a security gate but it has never been manned. shares a compound with the highschool and also building a new building on campus. hopefully someday security will reach 17th century standards.
police? do police work? they'd have to put on their uniforms and leave the AC...
everyday, when the weather permits, the dropouts appear like fruitflies on blackening bananas. sway em away and more magically appear. the teachers and most the students "xiuxi"(siesta) and the jr. gangsters and their sympathizers do their transactions. |

Posses like that tend to get recruited as 'security' where they can continue to dress in black and encourage old couples out of their homes so the area can be redeveloped. |

I just saw this happen the other day! Right outside the school's gate. Not wearing black but everything else fits the bill. Freaked me out when they started beating up a kid... one of them had a metal pipe hidden underneath a sweater..... |
