Hey
I've relatively recently done a course leading to CELTA and PTLLS qualifications, and have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. However, I don't have much experience. Would it be possible to get a job in Qatar on this basis?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice you could offer |

I just saw good job offerings on a forum that I ran across. Sorry it's not even showing up in my history. If I see it again I'll pm you but you could google and see what you find. Check out SAIS.com I think that was it. |

Try Qatar Petroleum. Google them and check the job ads; they sometimes hire engineering instructors. Working directly for QP is a whole lot better than working for one of the sub-contractors. There might be something at the Technical High School also run by QP. Another possibility is the Aeronautical college. Good luck. |

I see QU is advertising on the Cafe. It looks like a good deal if you don't mind the garbage that people report. |

If you read around this board at the tertiary conditions around the Gulf, there will always be stuff (and staff) you don't like about these jobs. I found as I changed jobs around the Gulf, you just make minor tweaks between advantages and disadvantages. It is far from the worst gig in the Gulf.
