My computer is having problems in this country. I am thinking of getting a second laptop. What is a reasonable price for a low end computer? I live in Shenyang.

I am in Fushun, just north of Shenyang and will be going to the south station (Shenyang) today and maybe tomorrow or Sunday.

I have a laptop I bought in Korea, but it's an older one. The main reason why I would be selling it is that I prefer desktop computers.

Now for the condition of the computer. I paid 350,000 won (1,980.93 RMB), it's a Compaq NX 9005.

You can do basic stuff with it, but if you watch movies on it, then it will overheat eventually. I had the motherboard and cpu replaced in China in April for 1,500 RMB.

Even if you aren't interested in this one, you can use the figures I gave as a comparison. I only got the laptop because I didn't have a computer to use at school in Korea. If I were to get a laptop for myself, I would be looking for a better laptop starting at $500 (~3,500 RMB).

Laptops are harder to fix. With a desktop, you can replace parts like changing lightbulbs, and it's much cheaper. I don't see the point in using a laptop.

a lot of people use their laptop at work and at home, so portability and convenience are important. and many people who travel, photographers and anyone who wants to bring some entertainment with them, travel with a laptop these days. There are more reasons to choose a laptop but I think you get the point.
