I'm torn between Ecuador and Chile. Both have an ideal climate for me and both are Spanish speaking nations.
How recognized is this EIL tesol? I have over 4 years of experience, I'm thinking of hitting one more country before getting out of ESL, but the last time I swore I was done with ESL I ended up in China. So my plan is to get a TESOL, learn Spanish, and in general enjoy the heck out of myself.
Doable in Ecuador? |

Never heard of EIL, the big three are SIT, CELTA; and Trinity. EIL might be good if it has 120 hours with 6 of teaching pracice.
I did the same as you, lived in Spain to learn Spanish, went to China, then ended up in Peru for what I thought would be 1 year, but turned into six. Now I'm married to a Peruvian, have become Peruvian and speak Spanish at home. |

My feet smell too much for Peruvian women to find me a handsome boy. |

EIL is the Experiment in Internationl Living. EIL Ecuador is located in Quito, and runs the SIT course there. This is the program that Justin Trullinger ran until he left for Korea earlier this year. |
