I had posted once before looking for work in Veracruz, however plains have changed and how I have been speaking with a school in Puebla and am VERY excited. I was wondering if anyone has anything to say about living and working in Puebla..I noticed that there isn't too much on here about there...
My husband is a Mexican citizen and we have 2 children (10 and 2)...I am still working on selling our house her in the states but am looking forward to moving this summer. Thanks;

I am speaking to the American School in Puebla, the Junior High. They have been really great giving me information about the city and school...I guess that we would like some idea of where it would be best for us to live..my husband wants a car so we can go to Veracruz often but I am not sure about all that, He is going to have to look for work, but I think that is a bridge we will cross when we get there,...I am so nervous/excited that I can't put together a solid list of inquiries...

I just got a job in the Junior High at the American School of Puebla too! What did you learn, Mearellano?

Mostly what I learned from the previous poster was that he is very opininated about my decision to move to Puebla. However, I am very excited about the opportunity, I am leaving for Mexico in 4 weeks. If you want you can reach me at my private email [email protected]. When will you go there? I am traveling with my whole family, my husband is from Mexico so he is excited to return home - we will spend a couple weeks with my in laws before heading to Puebla.

I figured this would happen...

I was shocked by your post previously because I couldn't understand how someone would be personal with someone who was asking about what Puebla was like. Who are you to question my intentions, motives, or feelings for my inlaws?

My entire family is thrilled with the prospect of this move, including my in laws. I have never left this country so I am not sure what to expect but I ready for whatever because I have my family with me. I DO want my son to experience his Mexican heritage, Puebla is all of 3 hours from Cordoba, thhis would not constitute me depriving him of part of his family -especially since my motherinlaw is going to live with us in Puebla for several months.

How dare you accuse me of choosing a job over family - the idea was for me to support my family and I needed a job to do that. I consider myself lucky to be given this opportunity and even more lucky to have a wonderful husband and children that support it.

If you recall my post asked for information on living and working in Puebla, I had an emotional response to your post (as I still do now) I fiind it judgemental and arrogant under the guise of being "frank."

i realized sometime ago that i cannot please everyone, even though i might have liked to...

but that doesn't mean im going to stop trying to help when i think i can be of service. call it arrogance if you want, i call it foresight.

The job sounds nice, the city didn't appeal to me. Too many churches and church culture that goes with it. Be okay for a family-type tho.
