Hello everyone,

I'm interested in teaching ESL in Poland and I have a bunch of questions.

I recently received my BA in Communication, and I plan to get an ESL certificate. Can anyone recommend any certification programs in Poland?

How is the job market for Americans? (I am particularly interested in Wroclaw, Krakow, and Gdansk.)

Lastly, if I receive my certificate in Poland and find a job there, is it likely that I will have to return to the US to get a visa, or will I be able to take care of it from Poland? (I'm a bit confused about all the paperwork, so any info on that would be greatly appreciated!)

Thanks!

Read the thread: Documents needed to get over there. Most of your questions have already been answered there. If you have any more, send me a pm. Where in the US are you?

Be careful, a lot of schools are fronts for organ harvesting operations.

Fortunately, a few of us tefl-ers caught on to this scam. We've been drinking non-stop and otherwise abusing our organs for years, all just to keep those Polish organ harvesters away.
