Hi there!!

I have just signed and sent of my contract and I have just paid �200 for someone to certify my documents for my visa and I'm stressing about my salary. Today I was in the centre of my city in Italy (Cagliari) and I met two yanks who are on holiday and they both work in HK!

So, we started talking and they told me not to accept a job paying 21000HK$ as its poop! They said most entry jobs in language schools start at HK$20000 and that's the bare minimum , they also said after a few years you can rack up at least 30000HK$ a month, is this true?

I MEAN FOR PEOPLE WITH JUST A DEGREE AND CELTA (NO TEACHING QUALIFICATION, NO NET SCHEME ETC) what is prob the min and max salaries for PRIVATE LANGUAGE SCHOOLS - NOT PRIVATE PRIMARY ETC JUST BOG STANDARD LANGUAGE SCHOOLS AND KINDERGARTENS?

The way I see it is that if the ave salary is 20000HK$ and ave rent is 8000HK$ then that leaves you with 12000HK$ spending money... just like my salay. Its just spending money!

Seriously though, in language schools or tutorial centres what is the HIGHEST salary one could get?
