Hi everybody,
I have been reading this forum for a few months now in the hope of getting my head around the work permit problem. Unfortunately I am still confused, as I am sure many of you are.
My main worry is the notarisation of my degree and criminal record check. I will be completing the Celta course at ILA in September, but arriving in August to get settled in. I was hoping for some advice on whether I should get my degree and criminal record check notarised before leaving the UK, or is it possible to go to the British Embassy and get it done in HCMC?
Obviously I will need to find a job after completing the course but it would be good to be organised, as is humanly possible, for any problems that may come up.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had to send my documents back to the UK to get notarized. It cost me not only time and money which i could have saved but also stress due to the complexities. If i were you, I'd get them done in the UK asap. |

Thanks for the advice, I'll get both of the documents sorted asap. I was thinking it would easier to do it in the UK but I had been told it was also possible to do it in HCMC. Once again thanks |
