Spring Scream is a bunch of white guys? Drunken debauchery? Whacked out bands? Although I don't drink and loathe live bands, I wouldn't mind a little debauchery myself. Where do I sign?
Oh, waitaminit. It's already too late. Darn.
Okay, so here are my REAL questions:
1) Howcum if I ever want to find a fellow foreigner, I have to follow the smell of booze? Are there any cool NONDRINKERS among us? Or am I the Lone Ranger? Then again, whoever said I was cool? 
2) Do live bands EVER perform decently ANYWHERE? It's always the same old crap: two guitars, a set of drums, and a couple of loudmouths who can't carry a tune. R&B (not rap) bands are frequently better though. Do R&B bands ever show up at Spring Scream? Then again, how many "nonwhite foreigners" actually live here in Taiwan? |
