Apparently they've been in business for about 4 years now, but I can't find any backstory on them. They've got an ad up on the China job board right now. Anybody know anything about these guys? Thanks !

I had a bad experience with them. I got sick and was hospitalized. They wanted me to come out of the hospital to give a class. I had my friend talk to them and they asked me if he was black. It's an operation designed to help students score well on tests. You are there just for amusement because as they will tell you, "You don't know how to prepare Chinese students for tests."
If you take the job make sure they pay you well because they are making money.

Hey, thanks for the info. Can you elaborate on your story a little bit? You briefly mentioned a few things. But I'd like a rundown of the basic situation if possible.

-What kind of people run the place? How many foreigners are there?
-How did they react to you being hospitalized and unable to work?
-Were they racists about your friend or something?
-What was the housing situation?
-What were your class hours and working conditions like?
-What did they pay you? What perks did they offer? (i.e. flight reimbursement, completion bonus)
-Did you finish your contract with them?

If I could press upon your time to answer these questions I'd be very grateful. Thanks again.

RBJ I can't tell you these things because I am in China. I wasn't under contract with them. I was asked to do a summer camp for them. I don't think they have many foreign teachers. I never saw any. I went to meeting after meeting and was told the importance of making money. I hung up the phone when they told me that Chinese don't like black people. This was one experience at one school. Things may be different other places. When I walked around the place I heard the teachers talking in Chinese. Students learn about English because that is what they need to pass the test.

Oh ok thanks anyway, I guess they sound kinda sketchy. If anyone else can offer any information on this school it would be appreciated.
