| How often do universities offer six month contracts? |
This would be most common for someone starting work in the second term, Feb - Jun/Jul. usually occurs when a teacher who began work in September doesn't return after the Chinese New Year holiday. |

CEU's will run all year except during the Spring Festival period.
CEU's = Continuing Education Universities, generally they provide additional training for their graduates. CEU's are part of the general university but usually have a separate admin staff and structure.
Not all universities will have a CEU department, the top-100 generally offer some type of CEU courses in the big cities.
CEU's operate year round, but also you can get weekend work too.
Some can be good places to work for as the FT groups are generally small, and allowed more instructional freedom. |
