I am moving to jeddah. I need information about good school, but not expensive as British school or American school.
Please, give me suggestion about good schools where English would be first language and French is taught as a second language.
I found two schools which seems to be ok. I need opinion which one is better for children education Alwaha School or Global.
Thanks in advance

The best way to choose is to visit the schools after you come here. Compare the locations, tour the grounds, see the facilities, see the classrooms, meet some teachers, meet some parents, look at the curriculum, find out the student national breakdown (if it matters), and if possible, see a class in action. Only then can you make an informed decision.

Al Waha and Global are very different in 2 major respects:

Al Waha uses the British curriculum, and most of the students and teachers are South Asians from Pakistan, India, etc.

Global uses the American curriculum, and most of the students and teachers are Arabs from Egypt, Lebanon, etc.

They are also located at 2 ends of the city!

Other schools you should look at which are similar to the above 2, in no particular order:

Thamer International School
Al Wadi International School
Dar Jana International School
Jeddah International School
Manarat Jeddah School
Coral International School
Cedar International School
Pakistan International School Jeddah, English Section

With the exception of a couple of them, again, the rest either have the British curriculum or the American curriculum, and either have mostly Arabs or mostly South Asians. The exceptions have both curricula and both 'ethnicities'.

The 2 you mentioned have official websites, as do most of the rest. Find them and study them throughly. Through Google, you can also find unofficial sites made by former students, Facebook groups, and informational sites which list all the schools with a small writeup and contact information.

BTW, some of the schools are in purpose built buildings, and some are in apartment buildings or villas!

Good luck.

The French School is excellent and receives subsidies from the French Govt in Paris. I would seriously consider that

^ True, but the French School is probably quite expensive.
