Nothing but grief. Did you know that double entry tourist visas do not exist? In fact, no dice completely...

However, I am undaunted, rather grooving on it all.

I assume that whichever Consulate you applied at have told you that?

Ridiculous situation. You can google 'Double Entry Tourist Visa, Thailand' or just visit the website of most European/Asian Consulates for the same info.

The consulate at Vientiane, Laos were issuing doubles for free.

You can transfer the tourist visa to a non immigrant visa if your company is prepared to provide all the needed paperwork and you have 21 days left on the visa.
