I must admit that I thought I knew all the Universities in Xi'an, however I've been in communication with this Uni in Xi'an, and need some reassurance (beyond what they're giving me). I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about them?
The contract is fairly standard as are the teaching requirements.

Thanks for any info. |

My brother turned down a job offer from this school about four months ago. He has a degree, was in China, had Xi'an based references, from a respected public university there, and years of experience. They pay the lowest in Xi'an and apparently regularly hire churchy types from religious organizations who work for peanuts. It's very rich school from the looks of it, but it is 20 minutes outside of Xi'an proper. There doesn't apepar to be much out towards the campus, either.
According to my brother they refused to negotiate their criminally poor salary, and steadfastly made a "take it or leave it" offer which was under 4K a month for 16 class hours per week, he told the FAO to f himself and hung up on the FAO. He took a better offer with a pubic school there. |

Its ok. They lost interest so i guess they got someone with better qualifications/experience.
Thanks for the info, though. Appreciated. |
