I am a Medical Doctor and just got a job offer with the MOH, I got my Visa issued about 2 weeks ago and my agent has been assuring me since that the ticket/flight will be booked by my sponsor/employer i.e MOH(Ministry of Health). I am worried because I dropped my resignation letter immediately the visa came out with the hope that the ticket would be sent to me soon. What do you think? and Is it possible God forbid that an employer would after issuance of visa fail to proceed further with the employment process. Thanks and God bless. |

The visa process is a slow and expensive one - and I assume they did enough background checks on you to satisfy themselves before they committed to it - so I wouldn't worry too much about being dropped at this stage.
Many establishments in Saudi Arabia, not least of which the government ministries, are lax to the point of incredulity. For this reason, things take time.
If you have a contact with your employer I would suggest sending them a polite email asking for the status of your ticket. If there's no reply, follow it up with a phone call. Never lose your temper. Keep pestering them like this in as friendly a way as you can muster until you get the desired results.
Good luck. |

Will you be teaching English or practicing medicine at the MoH? If the latter, what specialty (if you don't mind)? |

Thanks to everyone in the house for their advice and contributions. I have been issued a ticket and will be leaving for KSA in few days. |

^ Since you didn't answer either of my questions, I can't say you're welcome. |
