Aaaah you bring back the memories.
Remember to stay stoked until you finish your CELTA and have that job. Don't become bitter too quickly
Oh I'm leaving in September but not for any bad reasons. To be honest I've had a good time here.

Oh to be young again....'stoked'?...oh..fired up..had to ask my son about that one. Welcome, hope you enjoy teaching, don't know any job that can better teach you the human condition.
Travel and see life; you will be a better man for it...we might sound a little bitter or worn sometimes but I've never met anyone here or elsewhere in my decades of teaching around the world who hasn't been interesting. Well, maybe a few, but they didn't last long.
You'll find lots of other bright young things at ILA, crusty old sods round the corner in PNL and VB, and the interesting, cynical amongst us anywhere but those two places. we all like a beer, though, 'specially if you're buying. |

If you haven't paid yet, why not try doing it at Apollo instead? |

I don't think so, it's just that he hates ILA. You're going to loose your cherry somewhere here so I don't think it matters much who does it - only what you do after the fact.
I got popped by the Leecam bunch. Been there, done that, won't do that again! Almost everybody here has some initiation experience, I doubt you'll be any different but I wish for you less of a horror story than me. |

Well, what other alternatives are there to ILA? (Not to hate, I mean to get your cherry popped? ) |

Well duders, I made a plan and I am going to stick to it. I am sure it will be a blast either way! Or suck super hard, but I really doubt it. |

It will be - actually in many ways I think new teachers like yourself are what students need, what these students need is speaking practice, speaking practice and more speaking practice, so if you go into class 'stoked' and make an effort to communicate with as many of the students as possible in as friendly a manner as possible then you are doing what needs to be done. |
