That seems rather low. I have a friend who got his BA and MA from a local university and he was offered 10,000 SAR by a university in Jeddah (not sure if that included bennies). As I said, 10K is not that difficult to get here if you know where to look hence my OP.

They're called "walkers" where I come from. The UK is not the center of the universe.

(damn, that Malaysian English again. I wouldn't hire anyone with that accent and dialect. Fortunately my KL-Chinese wife didn't have it.)

We've got a Chinese amah. She speaks good English too.

Good TEFLers know when to use adverbs instead of adjectives...regardless of skin colour or ethnicity...
