I hope you're right. Everybody in my office says it sucks, but I'll reserve judgment. Meanwhile I had to use the Vista discs that came with the computer. Next year I'm getting a Mac.

Yes, black cat is right, mr. cigar. i meant that on top of the salary there is also housing provided. And flights for my wife and i -out there and then back home each summer- year completion bonuses, generous furniture allowance, end of contract furniture repatriation allowance, excess luggage allowance, lots of nice little things.

i have since accepted their offer and am alright with that. first time in my life i have not haggled over something significant. feels weird. need to hit chinatown and low-ball a shopkeeper on a pack of painted plastic chopsticks -just to make sure i still got chops.
