I've read a lot of reports about the sorry state of the country's medical system. It seems that in case of an emergency it would be best to use a private hospital of do as many Ukrainians do and leave the country. Can anyone comment on this? Or, comment on the purchase of medical insurance.

Does anyone know what Brits will pay to use the system? Same as locals?
THANKS! |

I stayed 10 days in a Ukrainian hospital and I thought that things weren't as bad as everyone said ...but it is a bribe culture and it seems that doctors might not give you the attention you need if you don't pass some money their way.. I don't know how much though.. I saw a lot of 50Gr's passing hands though.. |
