| Well, I suppose not - I've never tested the theory. Anything I've ever read on the subject has been from guide books, which informed what I wrote. |
Which guide book informed you that 'no Arab/Muslim nation will allow you to cross its borders with an Israeli stamp in your passport?"
It can't have been any of the guidebooks I read on Egypt and Jordan, two 'Arab/Muslim nations' which do permit people with Israeli stamps in their passports. |

Maybe I should make this a "sticky."
"Arab countries that accept visitors with Israeli stamped passports:
United Arab Emirates
Egypt
Jordan
Oman
Morocco
Arab (and other "Islamic") countries that DO NOT accept visitors with Israeli stamped passports:
Syria
Lebanon
Libya
Kuwait
Iran
Iraq
Pakistan
Saudi Arabia
Sudan
Yemen
Some tips on how to visit Arab countries after visiting Israel
Our hot tip for avoiding any future issues when visiting Arab countries: get a second passport. Americans should find this is easy to do: you will have to answer a questionnaire as to why you need it, but then youll get a passport valid for two years. So use this passport for visiting Israel and your regular passport for anywhere else in the world.
If a second passport is out of the question, when arriving in Israel ask the immigration clerk to issue the entry stamp on a separate piece of paper because you intend visiting Arab countries after your visit to Israel. It shouldnt be a problem and has become standard practice for Israeli officials, who have become very familiar with the problem of travelers later visiting Arab countries. Apparently, if you have one of the new biometric passports, the Israeli officials have all your details on computer so wont stamp your passport anyway.
Another hot tip: use Cyprus as your Middle Eastern gateway to Arab countries. Of course, immigration will know from which country (Cyprus) the plane has come from, but the plane before?"

Qatar is missing from that list... I suspect that they allow people in also.
Of course, current politics can cause things to change quickly. Personally I would make darn sure that I didn't have any Israeli stamps in my passport so that my travels wouldn't be limited.

Egypt, Israel and Jordan have a thriving joint tourist industry. There are loads of tours that take you to all three so it should be obvious that having an Israeli stamp should be fine with Egypt and Jordan.
People visiting Israel do a quick sidetrip tour to Petra on a daily basis.
I did read that someone on the Egyptian side at the Gulf of Aqaba shot a missile at Eliat 2 weeks ago but missed and hit a tourist resort in Aqaba, Jordan. I stayed there and was glad no missiles hit my resort by mistake.
You can see Egypt and Israel from Aqaba they are so close. In fact you could drive from Saudi into Jordan to the Israeli border gate, walk over, get an Israeli taxi to the Egyptian bordergate and enter Sinai. |

Qatar, Bahrain and some other Islamic countries in the general region allow more than Israeli stamps in a passport
Arab/Islamic countries that ALLOW entry for Israeli citizens:
Bahrain
Egypt
Tunisia
Jordan
Qatar
Oman
Morocco
Mauritania
Same source.
