Maybe even better than an anime song, is to try to get your hands on some of the "idiom cards" that Japanese kids have. These are slightly smaller than Poker cards. They have an illustration of a Japanese idiom on one side, and an explanation of the idiom-- in easy kids' Japanese, with furigana-- on the other side.
Using those gives you two language gifts in one: Japanese idioms, and experience with kanji+furigana. |
