Dear mestake,

"I wanna meet some more funny people!!"

Some of them, I can assure you, will be very funny, indeed.

Regards,
John

Interesting. . . Hmmm. . .I was responding to a there/their post, but it isn't there (their!) any longer!

Oh, apologies to all confused readers! What I should have said instead of the above: I was responding to a post that John had made about the use of "there" vs. "their." But when I got ready to submit my post, his had disappeared. As he said,

Quote:
Yeah, that was me; I read the original post incorrectly, realized my error...

. . . and he deleted his post. Sorry for the confusion! Embarassed

On the other hand, isitts has not yet spotted his error:
Quote:
What are you talking about? This was not a there/their post. She asked if I knew about Korea (like it was a mutual third-party country) and then realized I live in Korea, so changed it to "there".

But he will soon! Wink

I will? Laughing Now I'm confused... Oh. I guess I didn't see the OP's original post, nor did I see John's.

Ugh! Stuff and nonsense! She was asking about age, not about correct usage of "there" and "their". Smile Look at all these posts! We're on page two now and no one else has answered if her age might be a factor. Come on, you guys!

Good one! Laughing

Sorry for having derailed your thread, mestake. Fortunately isitts made on topic contributions, so this hasn't been just a comedy routine.

I trust you have read this thread?

And you might find this of interest. (Useful age/visa chart, but note that it is more than a year old.)

Thanks! Smile I try.

But hey, if we can answer the question and get a prize for most surreal thread, then it's the best of both worlds.
