Yes- you are mad if you take that job. Why don't you try Oman? With your quals you'd be able to get a job with the Colleges of Technology. I fyou wait until Sept when someone odes a runner they'll be advertising again. The pay and the teaching will be much better than in KSA, quality of life most likely better as well- depending on what floats your boat. You can even get cheapish legal alcohol in Oman if you have the need.

And he did let us know. he is happy with his friend in shared accommodation in Kandara or some other slum. Bully for him !
