In the forums usually questions are always being asked those who have been in longer, thought it would be good to ask what reasons, as well as aims, those who are newer into ESL have for embarking. |

Not wishing to be cynical, but why would their reasons be any different to those who went before them? In other words - work, travel, life experience, adventure ... |

that's a good point. Just wondering if anything new is on anyone's mind, any new motivators, or any new ideas that go beyond those. Thanks. |

Perhaps gainful employment, pay and the ability to start to pay off those massive student loans since there are a lot of recent grads with no job prospects in their home country and no shortage of ESL jobs for anyone who is a native speaker and has a degree.

Hey, you are not a newcomer! Thanks for the reply but I've seen your avatar around on the forums before. Honestly, I don't quite agree with your feelings about a plethora of jobs and solid, long term employment here in ESL lately.
edit: err, maybe you are since it says 2010. |
