I got referred to them through another company, and apparently they have a job opening, but I have to take their course first, and this will include a $500 fee with everything included.
Naturally, I was skeptical about this, so I did some research, and they seem to have mixed reviews everywhere.
Has anybody here had personal experience with them? |

Perhaps people are hoping you'll do your own search using Dave's search feature.

What you need to know is that the minimum industry standard is 100-120 course hours and at least 6 hours of supervised teaching practice with real EFL/ESL students and not fellow teacher-trainees. |

| If you take a look at that thread, you'll notice that the last relevant posts were over a year old, and that it less to some pretty negative stuff. Of was simply wondering of anybody had had experiences with then since then. Apparently not. Thanks for the warm welcome. |

But that's just one among many.
What's important for you to know is this: the minimum industry standard is 100-120 course hours and at least 6 hours of supervised teaching practice with real EFL/ESL students and not fellow teacher-trainees. If a course doesn't have at least that, then don't bother with it. Some will suggest you do the course in the country where you want to teach (and there are certainly advantages to that); others might suggest doing the course in your home country (there are advantages to that, too). There are still others who are snobs (especially among the Euros here and among Euro employers) and will insist that if you don't do CELTA or Trinity then you're not certified. |
