You should be asking the many backpackers. The schools seem to be full of them now and the schools are absolutely delighted. The schools don't care as long as they have a white face to place in the classroom.
Concerned with qualifications? Don't be silly. Put on your t-shirt and thongs and be in class by 5. You are hired. |

As long as you're happy working without a work permit. But as I understand it, a CELTA or equivalent is the legal requirement, not just a desirable qualification. |

Nicely done shanewarne. Those taking this post seriously should be ashamed of themselves.
Unless of course they are also playing the game, in which case I should be ashamed of myself. |

A nice lady from "Clever Friend Language Centre" told me I needed a CELTA to work for them. I'm back in the states right now but desperate to get something tied up before I arrive in 'Nam...she said the pay would be somewhere between $12 and $24 an hour depending on student feedback. is that good?
There's also a place called 'ILA' I've been hearing a lot about, anyone know it? Is it reputable?
And what about my shots, do you guys have yours?
Thanks, so many questions |
