I am teaching in China now and have my winter holiday from 1/3 to 2/21 I am looking for creative and hopefully profitable ways to spend my winter holiday. Is there some way (besides posting to the forum for every country) to found out when/if winter English camps are offered in various countries throughout Asia? |

Winter break in Korea from Dec.27-Feb/01 (with some small variation from school to school for exact dates), and again for the last 2 weeks in Feb.
There are usually "camps" during Jan. Check the Korean forum for specifics.
Breaks in Thailand for Oct., Mar., Apr. Not aware of many or even any camps that occur here during that time. A few of the language institutes have extra work but not sure if you would find enough to pay for the airfare and accommodation for that short a period.

The state foundation that owns my college holds English camps for high school students, but in the months of June, July and August, not in the "winter". Winter here in Malaysia (Dec, Jan) is the monsoon season and it can rain for days on end. Not good for outside activities. |
