I'm planning to apply to Westgate when I finish my CELTA in a month.

I've heard there's rather a lively sailing scene in Japan but I'm trying to suss out where it exists.

Any suggestions for which of the coastal Westgate locations (Gotemba, Shizuoka, Chiba, Kanagawa, Tokyo) might have a gaijin friendly yacht club for me to go hang around.

I haven't found one. Most of the harbors are filled with dilapidated fishing boats.

I know there is a yacht club in Yokohama, but I'm not sure how gaijin friendly it is.
