I'm trying to make sense of this but it is really doing my head in.
I'm pretty sure i need one of these if i want to get hired legally anywhere and the fact that i'm Irish, eg an EU citizen, makes no difference, am I right?
Also i'm reading things like you have to be at the offices 5 hours before they open to get a ticket to get seen that day, can anyone tell me is it still like that in Madrid now, even though there is a higher level of unemployment?
Any tips on sorting this out would be appreciated cos it seems like it will be a nightmare. |

You don't need one when you're starting your contract but will need to get it by the end of the year. I managed to get an appointment this week for December 20th. There's no chance of just walking in unfortunately. |

In every country in Europe there's some sort of registration necessary for foreigners, so Spain is no different. I found the process simpler, less onerous and bureaucratic than what my girlfriend had to put up with in Belfast. |

If the school is half decent they should arrange all these things for you! |
