Hello,
I was wondering if there are any other teachers here currently working in Dublin and what your experiences are. What do you really think of the working conditions? Would much appreciate getting some feedback and getting a discussion going. Thanks.

You could try posting this in the General Europe forum.
I've spent a lot of time in Ireland but never worked there. I can't imagine conditions would be wonderful with the collapse of the 'Celtic Tiger' but then again that might drive down prices and raise the student numbers.

Gone is the 'paper tiger' but the abysmal 'RELSA' continues. Worst standards of training I ever came across. Schools had very poor pay and conditions even during the boom. Dunno about now. Like Artemisia, can't see it being any better than it was.

I have two very good friends from Dublin that left teaching Mexico earlier in the year and went back home and now teach English to immigrants in Dublin; they seemed to like it last I asked.
