Hey everyone, quick question: Around how many hours/week of teaching would you estimate the average ESL teacher has to work to cover all expenses, if living somewhat frugally?
I have a degree, 2 years of teaching experience in Korea and want to know what kind of workload I'd be looking at if I moved down to Peru.
Is it possible to avoid split shifts?

thanks!

Depends on what your idea of frugal is. SOme people get by on $400 a month, some need that per week. You'll get between 6 and 10 usd an hour. If you just want to work a couple hours a day, then you can avoid split shifts.
