I am an Autism Specialist seeking a guarantee from an organization that I could volunteer/research/work with professionals in my field this summer (late June-early August). I am applying for a grant to explore how different countries address the needs of/successfully integrate children/adults with ASD into mainstream educational settings/job field/etc. I am willing to work with students of any age in a school setting or in job placement/training agencies with adults. I have a total of 10 years of experience in both areas. Ideally, I was hoping for Scandinavia since their educational and social systems are so successful and different from ours here in the US but I am open to Eastern Europe and other areas as well. I have to have a guaranteed placement to finish writing my grant proposal so am hoping someone here may work at a school or agency that would have an opportunity for me. My grant would cover all costs for transportation and I would hopefully be able to find a homestay or 3-4 week hostel situation. Any advice on this is appreciated!
