Hi guys. I am currently in China and I love it! Problem is I don't see a future for myself here so am starting to consider my options and I thought Spain.. I really like the idea of Melilla.
Before coming to China I worked in Italy (Sardinia) and spent two years there. I loved life but I only made E1200 which was not enough. After paying rent E500 and bills E120 and food E100 then travel E30 (E.750) I was left with E550 for everything else. Take away no work in Summer (I had work from Sept 1st till July 31st) I used to save E100 a month in order for a month holiday I was left with E450 to do as I please., It made it difficult to save, travel and sometimes buy clothes.
Now, here is my Q. How well can teachers in Spain (esp Melilla) live on a salary of E.1200.
Can I point out that I am an IELTS examiner so could prob do that but I don't know if there would be any demand.

| On that kind of money you would be able to cover essential costs like rent. If you supplemented this with private classes you could live ok. I would check the availablility of jobs in Melilla first as there might not be much until September. |
