The Communicative Approach to language teaching and learning emphasizes real communication to promote learning. Students are encouraged to use English in tasks that are meaningful to them and as a means of expressing themselves. How can we as teachers design lessons to create an active, student-centered classroom where the students interests and needs are taken into consideration? As part of my efforts to develop professionally I have (as you probably already know) gotten involved in MEXTESOL.

Through this medium, I receive lots of information like this!

Theres lots out there for EFL teachers - if people are interested.

I'd second the previous comment concerning Jose Manuel. He's a GREAT guy and if you get on his mailing list, you'll receive a bunch of great resources.

Good luck! Greg

Shockingly enough, Ive never used Facebook, but what would be the best way to get in touch with him personally? Do you happen to have an email address? I googled his name, but couldnt find any contact info.
