|
|
I am in DF and need to send a money order to the vital statistics office in Texas for some paperwork. They tell me it doesn't need to be from anywhere in particular as long as it is in USD.
However, I have been to several banks and none of them seem to understand what it is I need, exactly. My translator doesn't know what a money order is(they said they thought money orders were no longer in use) so I think something may be getting lost in the translation.
Does anyone here know where I can get one? TIA |

| Money orders, or giros postales, are still used as far as I know. I was told you would have to go to the post office to request a money order. |

Sorry! I've been a bit busy.
When we went to the post office the clerk acted like we were insane for thinking they would do that. I ended up mailing stuff to my sister to do things from the US for me.
Sucks. |

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it's possible to find a MO in any other currency than pesos here. |
