Dave,
Your new format is very nice. However, I have logged in so many times, I can't recall. I always use the feature which says something like "click here to log in automatically every time you visit", but I still have to do it manually.
Is anyone else experiencing this? |

Writerman,
Yes. I do everything exactly the same each time from the same computer at the same location. |

Hi Glenski -
This feature usually works for me, though not 100% of the time. I do know that this is done via a cookie, so one possible solution is to try going into your browser's settings and manually deleting all of the cookies. I'm hoping that it will work after that, but I'm not completely sure.
All the best,

Glenski:
I have the same problem. The log in screen recognizes me and remembers my password but it won't perform the automatic log in.
This most likely has something to do with the internet privacy settings on the browser. If you want to experiment you can go to "Internet Options" in the "Control Panel" to change the setting for IE or to "Edit" then "Preferences" for Netscape.
If you are using a firewall that could be another source of the problem.
I don't want to change my privacy settings so I just put up with the inconvenience........which isn't anywhere near the hassle of having to type your name etc. everytime you made a post on the old boards. |

Hi Glenski,
Yes, I am having similar problems when I attempt to log in. Also, I submitted a reply and it got lost somewhere. |

Hi GlobalDawg -
This may not be the case for you, but I thought that I also posted a reply that somehow didn't make it onto the board ... but the reality was that I hit the preview button, viewed my message, but forgot to hit the submit button!
All the best,

Well Dave, I am still having problems. This the 4th attempt at sending this reply. Every time I select submit, it goes to the login screen. I give up. |
