Not that I do, but what is the stance on foreigners teaching privates here? In Korea it is highly illegal and they have sporadic clamp downs on it and many people won't do it for fear of being caught and fined. Is it the same here or do people not really care too much? And if you solicit your services as a teacher in your apartment block, as an example, would that be frowned upon?
I don't really have plans to do either but was just curious as to how it is dealt with here. |

It depends 1. on your visa status and 2. whether or not it contravenes your employment contract and 3. whether or not either of the above would find out about it in any case.
I have known many doing private teaching down the years. I suspect that most of them are/were permanent residents and freelancers (meaning that they can do what they like). Or travellers making a few bucks (and working illegally). |
