Hello all. I am new to the TOEFL/TOESL/ESL world, and I am trying to put together my first CV. I think I have a decent draft, but could really use some ideas from some folks who have already put their CVs together. I have some prior teaching experience even though before my TEFL/TESL class never any formal teaching training. Would anyone be willing to look over my CV and make some positive constructive suggestion on how to tweak my CV??? I would be more than happy to email it to you. Please just let me know if you need me to save it to Word 2003 as I typed it in Word 2007. Any help would be most appreciated.
My thanks in advance,
Terry |

Bachelors degree and TESOL cert?
What part of the planet are you looking at for your entry to ESL (it makes a difference on how you construct your resume and what will go in it). |

tttompatz, yes, I have a BS and a TOEFL cert. But my BS is in Business Administration, not English. I am looking to teach in Russia. |

A lot of jobs in Russia will be teaching business English, so having a degree in business will likely help you. If you have business experience, though, that's even more useful. You should also check out the Russia forum. Many people here are of the opinion that Russia is not the ideal place for a newbie to tefl teaching. |
