|

Hello,
Could someone kindly tell me what constitutes a valid HIV test for a Russian work visa? Does it have to be a certificate drawn up by a medical clinic and then translated into Russian?
Also, is the HIV certificate required to process your visa, or is it needed as a supplement to your visa once you land in Russia, or shortly thereafter? Is it possible to have the HIV test done over there as soon as you arrive? I'm not sure, as it seems like the rules change all the time.
I'd greatly appreciate any information. |

You need the HIV test to process the visa. When I got my visa a few years ago, it did not have to be translated. I just went to the local medical clinic, got the test (took about 20 minutes), and then took that certificate to the consulate. I'd check the embassy's or consulate's website before making a final decision, though. |

Thank you very much for your reply. I appreciate it.
It seems that that rules change a lot, depending on your nationality, kind of visa, etc. |
