You need a Malaysian work permit for living in Berkeley?? |
What is it about the English verb-tense system that puzzles you? |

Why are you so snotty??
Why don't you give people information about your situation so they will know whether or not your information is of any value??
Do you live in Berkeley?? That is what you state in your profile (under the photo). If that is true, then how long has it been since you worked in SE Asia??
If you don't live in Berkeley, where do you live and work?? People want good information here, not reminiscences from the 1970s, which is what you have posted in the past.
There are age requirements in Malaysia, and people looking to move here need to be forewarned even if some people have had exceptions made for them. |

I most recently worked in Malaysia from May through December of 2009. I easily received a government work permit. I shall do the same in February 2011.
A few months ago I worked in both Singapore and Indonesia -- again with government work permits. However, I do not currently teach at language schools or other schools, colleges, or universities. I work at privately held corporations.
What's snooty about that? |

Hey Henry C.
Dare we ask ...
You're over 60, but under 65, right?
You have 'connections' maybe?
You perhaps even have a Ph.D.?
Just curious as to how you are able to 'buck' the system and get a work permit for Malaysia when most other people, at 60, cannot!
(Maybe it's just a matter of your irresistible charm? ) |
