The ministry seems to be trying to improve English teaching by recruiting qts teachers as advisors but I see this is coming through agencies rather than moe direct. The salary is not so high. I wonder how much cut the agencies are getting and why the moe don't hire direct. They might then get more takers. |

What is your opinion on this kind of job? How good/bad are Malaysian teachers? Would they take kindly to advice? |

Many well known agencies are recruiting for teacher trainers. Salaries around RM8-9K. Up to 12K for team leaders. Benefits range from laptops, cars, accommodation and the usual eg flights...
Anyone doing this? |

I've been hired for one of the positions in this program. Seems reasonable enough. A lot of work, for sure...but most basic needs taken care of. I am curious about anyone else out there that may be doing this, and their thoughts on the matter... |
