I never noticed this board to have a sticky for new members to introduce themselves. How about it? It may add some depth to the community. |

Welcome to both of you. Please do introduce yourselves! Generally, the way to get started is to tell us about your background (academic) and what sort of job you are looking for. Tell us about your training and experience and what your priorities are--whether you need to go somewhere where you can save some money, whether you are thinking of doing this for just a year or two or making a career of it, etc. Also tell us where you are from/what your citizenship is, since this can have a big impact on where you can work.
When you provide this information, you'll generally get helpful replies; without this info, there's not much we can do to help you!
And do remember that this is a teaching site, designed to help future/current teachers. Many of us have been here for several years and a few of us have met or corresponded with others personally, so there will be some personal banter, but it's not really a personal site. Just from reading the first post, I got the impression he was just looking to chat.
