I've searched this site and every other for a first hand account of working at this school. They seem desperate to hire. Do they at least pay on time? If anyone knows for sure one way or another I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

What makes you think they are 'desperate'? Any school is keen to take on a teacher if, for example, a previous teacher suddenly leaves for whatever reason.

Have you asked if you can email any current and even past foreign teachers from the school?

Yeah I asked to speak with current teachers, but it's only been 24 hours so they haven't gotten back to me yet. I get the sense that they are desperate because the whole thing is very frontloaded. They just sent me a medform and a contract, and said fill this out sign this, pay for ALL FEES associated with getting yourself here, med checked, FEC etc. There just doesn't seem to be any good faith on their end.

However, as long as they pay and get me the right visa, I'd still work for them. I'm not afraid of being worked like crazy or living in a crappy apartment. I just need to know that I'm not going to be financially exploited.

So nobody has any first hand knowledge of this school? They advertise here on Dave's like once a week. Anybody?

You won't know untill you finished because it is the nature of Chinese business. Everything gets settled when you finish.
