I am thinking of working in either Shanghai or Cheng Du, I was told Cheng du is cheaper, need easy access from my place of work to Japan for flights. But I am also only planning on working seven months and they ask for a one year contract, if I do a runner, leave the day after pay-day, what will the consequences be? Surely, if I am upfront and say i don't want a one year contract they just won't give me the job?
One more thing, I will be doing skype interviews with a few companies soon (language schools in China.) Should I interview them to see which one is better? And what kind of things should i ask? I don't want to put them off. One thing which is important apart from the money is starting from midday on either Saturday or Sunday, so I can go out Friday or Saturday night and unwind. |
