				A wolf in wolf's clothing ! How wonderful !

A much-maligned species, and I for one never believed all that propaganda from that Riding Hood Broad ! If you ask me she wasted her granny for the inheritance and then pinned the blame on Wolfie !

And as for those Three Little Pigs - they should have been bacon sandwiches a long time ago ! |

Hmm. I have my very own thread. Wolves are the victims of some rather spectacular misundersandings and unfair generalizations. Any EFL teacher is going to encounter these things from time to time, which is why I chose this name.

Heh, there, I managed a reply that sort of belongs on a newbie forum for EFL teachers.

PS. That Russian boy Peter is full of it as well, with his "one that got away" story of a "victory." |

				The late great Warren Zevon--

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand

Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain

He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's

Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein

Werewolves of London

If you hear him howling around your kitchen door

Better not let him in

Little old lady got mutilated late last night

Werewolves of London again

Werewolves of London

He's the hairy handed gent who ran amuck in Kent

Lately he's been overheard in Mayfair

Better stay away from him

He'll rip your lungs out, Jim

I'd like to meet his tailor

Werewolves of London

Well, I saw Lon Chaney walking with the Queen

Doing the werewolves of London

I saw Lon Chaney, Jr. walking with the Queen

Doing the werewolves of London

I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's

His hair was perfect

Werewolves of London again

Draw blood |

And then there's that song by Green Jello/Jelly that had its heyday for a few short weeks back in 1993:

Little pig, little pig let me in

Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin

I'm huffin and puffin and I'll blow your house in

Huffin' and a-puffin' and I'll blow your house in.

[followed by merciless Tommy Lee-style banging on the drums and then a ferocious chrord sequence on the e-guitar] |

				| I think we should have a Society to Protect All Species. I mean, the Wolf, Gollum, the Smallpox Bacillus are all God's Creatures and have an equal right to life. |

Yes. But while all things are equal, some things are more equal than others. |
