Regarding the medical at Ft. Benning.
One must have a total cholesterol count below 300 on the US scale.
BMI must be below 39.9.
One's blood pressure must be in check. This is the number one disqualifier. Unfortunately I don't know the numbers, but I have recently gone through Ft. Benning. Someone else can chime in here.
High blood sugar (not cholesterol exactly - I don't know the details) must be brought down.
All of this can be done with meds and ingenuity.
The contract ends Oct 29th. It has been picked up but the details are not known about the new company and will not be for awhile.

Depends on how you applied. The answer can be soon or never.
I heard back in one day.
Some did not have phone interviews. Now, most seem to get them. I never had one.

You have to get a flak jacket to go there ? It reminds me of Thoreau's warning,"Beware of any undertaking which requires the acquisition of new clothes." |
