I applied several times to Zayed University, and every time, within hours and sometimes within minutes, I would receive a rejection email saying like "After carefully considering your qualifications (blah, blah, blah)."
It was amusing but annoying too, considering what a pain in the ass it is to fill out online applications. At least they could have waited a couple of days before rejecting me out of hand. |

most of the time think of yourself as overqualified in the UAE. I got a rejection from HCT but an interview from UAEU but never heard back from them LOL. |

But, since you are not a TEFL teacher, your experience may not match that of these teachers.
