Besides gaijinpot...are there any other good forums focusing on expat efl/esl teachers in Japan?

That website is way too clunky with way too many forum headings. Meanwhile this one is a bit spartan, targeted towards a more international audience.

Even better is if someone knows a forum that is focused specifically on Kansai. Know of any? Thanks in advance!

Private Message is okay as well.

What do you want to see/discuss that you can't do here? IMO, this is the best around.

GP is a troll-infested, flame-ridden piece of ..... work.

This is certainly the most aesthetically-pleasing. The community is small, very decentralized, and very generic Japan. All good for the forum, as this is an international forum for everyone's inquiries.

I'm thinking of a forum more similar to the China forums, where there is more community-building. People living in a similar area, who may attend similar events, and have common knowledge of the same places, but specifically in KANSAI/OSAKA.

Gaijinpot is just a messy site. Always scrolling to see all the dozens and dozens of forums on the first page, open a forum, and scrolling more to see the top 10 threads. The organization is such a mess, it's amazing that that many people actually use that site.

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about in terms of "community building" in the China forum here. It is designed just like all the other forums and shows posts like you described for Japan. Perhaps you have another forum in mind?

GP is messy? I don't get you. Seems pretty well-organized so you can choose whatever topic you want easily.

Well, anyways...

If anyone knows any Kansai/Osaka forums, I'd love to hear about them. Cool

Look on Facebook, there are a lot of groups (sometimes aimed at employees of specific companies, but maybe you can join them anyway)!
