Is anyone here familiar with Spanish teaching in India...its prevalence and a possible idea as to pay rates?
I've been asked by an outfit in India to help them find native Spanish language teachers but I know zip about the market over there. |

I don't know anything that would be helpful, have never seen a job posted looking for a Spanish teacher in India, though I saw one ONCE for a Spanish teacher in Turkey. If you end up doing the project, I would love to go, Spanish is actually my first language, even though I have spoken English since I was 5 or 6. I think I could live without taco for a year, I love Indian food! |

guy long time no correspond. this time I may be able to help. a friend of mine says both spanish and french teachers in India will not earn in excess of Indian rupees 15,000 per month, wghich right now divides by about 45 to get the US dollar amount........dont have a calculator this moment but looks about 350 $US? Yeah, those tacos al pastor (and send me a few elotes to boot) are looking pretty good right now. |

yeah there are Spanish teacher jobs in Bangalore and Mumbai. Check out naukri.com and just type "spanish" in the subject search field. pay is about 20o rupees per hour |
